Housekeeper

Job description

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Housekeeping AIDE

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning tasks on a predetermined schedule.
  • Sweep and mop floors, placing caution signs as needed.
  • Wipe down and sanitize door handles and other surfaces that are commonly used.
  • Assist with bathroom cleaning and sanitation.
  • Empty trash bins.
  • Change bed linens.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (is a plus).
  • Some housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with common cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English (bilingual is a plus).
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee staff on a daily basis.
  • Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas for cleanliness.
  • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
  • Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.
  • Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
  • Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves.
  • Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Banquet Server

Responsibilities

  • Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
  • Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Prepares room for dining by clothing tables, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Maintains table setting by removing used plates completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
